Make Some Noise for Early Childhood-Friendly Legislation!

This Wednesday, February 26, is a big day for early childhood at the state legislature. You can make some noise in person or online to support early childhood-friendly legislation.  

Here’s the schedule, if you come in person: 

• 12:45 in State Office Building Room 200: Health and Human Services Hearing on HF 1
• 2:00 in the State Capitol: Senate Press Conference on Early Learning Scholarships 
• 3:00 in Minnesota Senate Building Room 1100: E-12 Hearing on Early Learning Scholarships

It’s great to see this energy around investments in young children! You can lend your support in a variety of ways. Here are some ideas:

• Attend a hearing in person to show your support! 
• Is your legislator on one of the committees? Thank them for their work and ask them to support these early childhood initiatives. (Find your legislators here.)
• Did Parent Aware help your child care program? Did an early learning scholarship allow you to further your career or education? Share your early childhood story.
• Spread the word on social media (below)
